Where are you from? I am from Fairbury, Illinois.
Why did you choose Kirkwood? I chose Kirkwood because it was the school that best fit my academic needs as well as my future.
What is your major and how did you choose it? I am majoring in Hospitality Management. I chose it because my guidance counselor highly recommended the program. After looking more into it, I felt that it was a good fit for what I wanted to pursue in the future.
What has been your proudest moment at Kirkwood? One of my proudest moments at Kirkwood was receiving this nomination as well as completing supervisory clinicals at The Hotel at Kirkwood.
What are your plans after Kirkwood? My plan after Kirkwood is to pursue event planning and catering in the hotel sales industry.
What inspires or motivates you? Being recognized for my hard work is very motivating as well as appraisal from my family and friends.
Tell us about who you are outside of Kirkwood. Most of my hobbies include many outdoor activities, especially during the summertime. I also like to spend quality time with friends and family.
What does being named an Outstanding Student mean to you? Being named Outstanding Student is a reward for all of the hard work that I have put in during my time at Kirkwood.
