Medical Services – For students needing non-emergency medical attention, Kirkwood Student Health Services are offered at the MercyCare Prairie Creek clinic in Cedar Rapids. Counseling – Kirkwood Counseling Services offers a safe space for students where everything shared is completely confidential. Public Safety – On campus services offered include 24-hour, 365 days a year campus services, escorts for students, faculty and staff, unlock and jump-starting of vehicles on campus, monitor and enforcement of driving regulations, responding to Blue Light Emergency Phones located throughout the main campus and other services. Advising and Transfer Center – Helps students with their academic futures, from developing an academic plan to choosing the best courses to smoothly transfer to a four-year school. This department can also help clarify course requirements or refer students to support services if needed.
