Students can use their EagleCards for free activities here at Kirkwood Community College, including bus transportation, sports activities, access to the Rec Center and tickets to school musicals.
You can also use your EagleCard like a debit card, where you can deposit funds into your account and use it around campus.
On the Kirkwood website you can deposit funds called “EagleCash.”
EagleCash can be used at Kirkwood locations like the bookstore, EagleTech and The Café. Funds can be added to the EagleCard in the form of cash or credit/debit card in an amount from $1 or more at any time and the deposit center accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
With EagleCash, you can buy books at the bookstores, sell books at buy-back time, register for your classes, check out books at the Kirkwood Library, and gain access to the Kirkwood Rec Center, computer labs, and athletic or entertainment events.
Student should take advantage of using their EagleCard because it allows you the opportunity to connect with the student body through athletics, performing arts and transportation all for free.
By attending events at Kirkwood this allows you to build a community between classmates and staff members.
You can share similar interests with people by developing your social skills and getting a break from school academics. When you use the bus, make sure to show your EagleCard for access to all bus routes.
Some of Kirkwood’s online discount sponsors include Adobe Creative Cloud, Spotify and Amazon Prime.
When it comes to getting tickets for the school theater productions, you must order from the Kirkwood Arts Department website. From there, you can pick the night you want to attend and admission is free.
All Kirkwood students with EagleCards can attend events around campus for free, including athletics and fine arts performances. Students can also use their EagleCard for bus transportation.
If you do not have a valid EagleCard, you can always stop by 131 Nielsen Hall, present a government-issued ID, and start taking advantage of what your Kirkwood EagleCard has to offer.
