Kirkwood Women’s Basketball team stunned by Illinois Central in the second round of the NCJAA Tournament

The Kirkwood women’s basketball team was stunned by Illinois Central in the quarter finals of the NCJAA tournament on April 22. The Eagles dominated all year but struggled versus the 8 seeded Cougars. Former student discusses the advantages of a community college education

Eagles come up big in the first round of the ICCAC conference tournament 

The Kirkwood Community College men`s basketball team rolled past North Iowa Area Community College 94-74 on Tuesday, April 6. The Eagles took down the Trojans in the first round of the ICCAC conference tournament. The 2019 NJCAA champions were in control for most of the game and outscored NIACC 44-31 in the first half.    [Continue Reading »]
