Airport National Golf, it’s time to talk golf

Airport National Golf has a variety of different and fun options for the whole family. They have an 18-hole miniature golf course, a grass driving range, golf simulators and more.

Whether students consider themselves to be a pro or are new to golf there is an option for everyone. Not only is it affordable to students, but it’s also close to the campus making it a great place to have some fun.

“It’s a fun place to get some golf in with friends, whether it’s mini golf, simulators, the driving range or golfing.  It’s very close to Kirkwood and the rates are affordable.  Just make sure to show us your college ID when paying,” said Owner Matt Erger.

One of the things students can choose from is its mini golf course. The mini golf course is 18 holes.

If students want to practice their game, they can shoot for the sky on the grass driving range. The range has multiple targets to help improve an individual’s swing.

“We just added golf simulators last fall with state of the art technology used by PGA Tour Pros that allows you to play and practice all year long,” Erger said.

The course also started sign-ups for the winter leagues on Sept. 8. Call Airport National Golf Course at 319-848-4500 to sign up.

They also have a 27-hole executive style golf course. According to Erger, the course is always in great shape and the greens are challenging.

Lastly, they have two practice greens to help work on short game.
