Student Life sponsors free activities

Between classes and assignments, students often look for quick ways to relax and take breaks. Student Life at Kirkwood Community College offers free activities to students to get that much needed break.

From bowling to ice skating to go-karting, there’s a variety of off campus options. Students only need to show their EagleCard to take part in the activities.

Student Life also offers activities on campus such as arts and crafts, bingo and trivia.

While students can find the date and time for these activities on MyHub, these activities “…have gone unnoticed and should be better advertised. More people should know and see it more,” Trinity Chapman, business management, mentioned. She added, “It’s a fun way to see friends in a financially smart way. They offer a lot of free activities and discounted food.”

Automotive major Mich Getz, suggested, “Fishing or even a fishing club would be nice.”
