Where are you from? Orange City, Iowa.
Why did you choose Kirkwood? I decided to attend Kirkwood because I knew I would great a great education in a short amount of time.
What is your major and how did you choose it? My major is Interior Design; I chose this major because it has been my lifelong dream to become an Interior Designer and knew that Kirkwood’s Interior Design program would more than prepare for the field.
What has been your proudest moment at Kirkwood? My proudest moment at Kirkwood has been being described as a positive influence to my peers. My main goal in life is to spread kindness and positivity and I am happy to know that this has been recognized in my time at Kirkwood.
What are your plans after Kirkwood? After my time at Kirkwood, I hope to have a full-time job where I can disrupt the industry with my innovative designs.
What inspires or motivates you? My strong passion for design continues to push and motivate me all throughout my schooling.
Tell us about who you are outside of Kirkwood. Besides my strong passion for interior design my hobbies and interest include spending time with loved ones, expressing myself through art, graphic design and marketing and viewing great cinema.
What does being named an Outstanding Student mean to you? Being named an Outstanding Student confirmed for me that I am achieving my goals of being a good student and a great person.
Is there anything else you’d like to add? I am so thankful for my time at Kirkwood. I have met so many amazing people, had life changing opportunities and had the ability to follow my lifelong dream of becoming an interior designer.
