Q: Where are you from? (city, state) 

A: I’m from Hico, Texas.

Q: Why did you choose Kirkwood? 

A: I chose Kirkwood because of the hands on agriculture programs. 

Q: What is your major and how did you choose it? 

A: Agriculture Production management focusing on swine is my major I chose it because I love working with hogs. 

Q: What has been your proudest moment at Kirkwood?  

A: My proudest moments at Kirkwood are when I get to ultra sound sows at the  Kirkwood swine barn or delivering pigs at Kirkwood swine barn.  

Q: What are your plans after Kirkwood? 

A: My plans after Kirkwood are to work on a sow unit. 

Q: What inspires or motivates you?

A: Mostly pigs inspire and motive me but also showing people what I can do with my work and knowledge that I have. 

Q: Tell us about who you are outside of Kirkwood – hobbies, family, other interests, etc.

A: My main hobby outside of Kirkwood is roller skating, I’ve been skating for 6 years now. 

Q: What does being named an Outstanding Student mean to you? 

A:  Being named Outstanding Student to me shows that people are proud of my work and appreciate what I do.
