Netflix picks

It’s been a long month, and honestly, I don’t watch a lot of television.  Typically, I’m too busy. However, now I have nothing but time, so I watch Netflix and chill. Honestly, if I chill much longer, I’ll freeze to death. I have watched Netflix quite a bit recently and here are a few of my recommendations:

“Anne With an E” is the newest retelling of Anne of Green Gables, so it is a period drama and it’s relatively short with just 3 seasons.  I personally like this because the acting is far better than the original TV movie.  I think if you liked the book series, you will like “Anne With an E”.

“Alias Grace” is another period drama.  It is actually based on a real-life murder that was fictionalized by Margaret Atwood. It is a really good TV series that will leave you guessing until the very end.

“Duck Duck Goose” is a very cute kids movie that tells a tale of found families and epic journeys. An irresponsible goose takes two baby ducks across China to reunite with his flock after he was separated. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t made by Disney, so don’t expect that Disney production quality, but my younger cousin and I loved it.

“Our Planet” is a really good documentary that spends about 6.5 hours talking about different ecosystems found on earth. It was very interesting.

“Bob Ross and the Joys of Painting” can also be found on Netflix. This was one of my favorite TV shows when I was a kid. I still have no ability to paint but he is so soothing to listen to.

“Tiger King” was released in the last few weeks and it is incredibly popular. I have not personally watched it but I have heard good things about it. Check it out of you have time.
