A: I am from Sioux City, Iowa
Q: Why did you choose Kirkwood?
A: I started off with Kirkwood because I wanted it to be my first college. Considering college was a new experienced for me, I wanted to start somewhere that will help me start off my career.
Q: What is your major and how did you choose it?
A: I am doing an open major, I choose to be an open major because I wanted to start small and see more option for me.
Q: What has been your proudest moment at Kirkwood?
A: My proudest moment in Kirkwood would be getting the help I need from the teachers as well as getting good grades.
Q: What are your plans after Kirkwood?
A: My plans after I graduate from college is to transfer to UI to pursue my bachelor’s degree or go to a beauty school to work my way up to be esthetician.
Q: What inspires or motivates you?
A: What motivates me is knowing that the work I put in is going to beneficial.
Q: Tell us about who you are outside of Kirkwood – hobbies, family, other interests, etc.
A: Outside of Kirkwood I love to read, watch tv, go on walks or I hang out with friends and family.
Q: What does be named an Outstanding Student mean to you?
A: Being outstanding student means that I am able to learn and grow so much comparing to my first year at Kirkwood. I was able to learn new skills and find new enjoyment in the things that I do.
