Q: Why did you choose Kirkwood?
A: I chose Kirkwood because I felt at home here and saw it as the best way to save money while starting my college career.
Q: What is your major and how did you choose it?
A: My major is Human Services, and I chose it because I love helping people! Someday I plan to become a therapist.
Q: What has been your proudest moment at Kirkwood?
A: Overall, my proudest moment at Kirkwood was going on a study abroad trip to Australia and representing this amazing college while meeting amazing new people.
Q: What are your plans after Kirkwood?
A: After Kirkwood, I plan to attend a 4 year university to acquire my Bachelors Degree in Social Work. After that, I plan to attend graduate school to earn a Master’s Degree, to eventually become a mental health therapist.
Q: What inspires or motivates you?
A: My loved ones definitely inspire me to do the best that I can. I am also motivated by my future and want to be the best version of myself.
Q: Tell us about who you are outside of Kirkwood – hobbies, family, other interests, etc.
A: Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and pets. I love being active, but I also love binge watching TV shows with my favorite people around.
Q: What does being named an Outstanding Student mean to you?
A: This is an amazing honor. I am really proud about how other people noticed all of my hard work!
