A: Kirkwood seemed like a great and affordable choice for starting my higher education.
Q: What is your major and how did you choose it?
A: I chose an Associate of Science degree to pursue a career in neuroscience.
Q: What has been your proudest moment at Kirkwood?
A: Probably earning this award!
Q: What are your plans after Kirkwood?
A: I plan to move on to the University of Iowa to further pursue my educational goals.
Q: What inspires or motivates you?
A: A desire to make a positive impact on the world.
Q: Tell us about who you are outside of Kirkwood – hobbies, family, other interests, etc.
A: I have a sister who’s great at art and inspired me to pursue some artistic interests myself. I also play video games and engage in politics a little.
Q: What does be named an Outstanding Student mean to you?
A: It’s a sign that I’m really able to go far.
Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add?
A: The final stretch was sure an interesting one with the pandemic.
