Q: Why did you choose Kirkwood?
A: They have a very well-known agricultural program with affordable tuition.
Q: What is your major and how did you choose it?
A: Agriculture Business, I chose it because it opens up the most opportunities within the agricultural industry.
Q: What has been your proudest moment at Kirkwood?
A: Being recommended to make a video for graduation commencement. Being recognized by staff that thought I would be a good fit is a big complement.
Q: What are your plans after Kirkwood?
A: I plan to attend South Dakota State University following graduation from Kirkwood to major in Animal Science.
Q: What inspires or motivates you?
A: The support from my family and community pushes me to succeed. I am motivated to make those who support me, proud of me and my achievements.
Q: Tell us about who you are outside of Kirkwood – hobbies, family, other interests, etc.
A: I enjoy spending a lot of time with family and friends. I like to spend time outdoors and with animals.
Q: What does be named an Outstanding Student mean to you?
A: It is such honor to be recognized for the dedication I have put into my college career at Kirkwood. I am so thankful that my professors picked me to be nominated for this award.
Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add?
A: Kirkwood has been a great place to begin my college career. I am so thankful for the people and experiences Kirkwood has brought me.
