Where are you from? I am from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Why did you choose Kirkwood? I chose Kirkwood due to it being close to home and I had taken dual credit courses in high school so I was already familiar with Kirkwood.
What is your major and how did you choose it? I am in the Dental assisting program at Kirkwood because I like the challenge & I had the opportunity to participate in a job shadow during high school. During the job shadow I went to the Kirkwood campus and saw what their program had to offer which interested me.
What has been your proudest moment at Kirkwood? My proudest moments would be receiving this award & getting on the Kirkwood Dean’s list.
What inspires or motivates you? Doing my best and being the best version of myself is what motivates me.
Tell us about who you are outside of Kirkwood. I enjoy skiing, watching movies, playing video games and spending time with my family.
What does being named an Outstanding Student mean to you? Being named an outstanding student is an honor for me and it is nice to be recognized for how hard I’ve worked.
