Q: Where are you from? (city, state) 

A: Marion, Iowa 

Q: Why did you choose Kirkwood? 

A: It was close to home and allowed me to finish all my general education courses while staying at home.  

Q: What is your major and how did you choose it? 

A: I am a Liberal Arts major because I plan on transferring to the University of Iowa in the fall. 

Q: What has been your proudest moment at Kirkwood?  

A: My proudest moment will be finishing all my general education courses in one year. 

Q: What are your plans after Kirkwood? 

A: I plan on transferring to the University of Iowa in the fall to start their Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. 

Q: What inspires or motivates you? 

A: My friends and family. 
Q: Tell us about who you are outside of Kirkwood – hobbies, family, other interests, etc. 

A: I love watching the Iowa Hawkeyes play with my family and being active with my friends. 

 
Q: What does be named an Outstanding Student mean to you? 

A: To me, this award means that all my hard work and dedication to school has paid off and not gone unnoticed! It’s a very neat opportunity and I am very thankful.
