A: I chose Kirkwood because of how close it was growing up and how well it is known in our area.

A: Graphic Communication Technology, I chose this degree because of my passion for creativity.
Q: What has been your proudest moment at Kirkwood?
A: Graduating from Kirkwood and meeting peers in my field that have helped me become a better designer.
Q: What are your plans after Kirkwood?
A: Finding a full-time job and staying in the area.
Q: What inspires or motivates you?
A: What motivates me is to challenge myself daily by learning new skills and advancing my knowledge to make me a better designer.
Q: Tell us about who you are outside of Kirkwood – hobbies, family, other interests, etc.
A: Outside of Kirkwood I enjoy being creative not only digitally but in other ways such as crafting. I also enjoy going boating and fishing with my husband and our dog Daisy.
Q: What does be named an Outstanding Student mean to you?
A: Being named an outstanding student means to me that my hard work and dedication toward my degree has paid off.
